In India, is conducted by IDP and charges 16,250 INR per attempt. The date booking can be done through the online IDP portal. The IELTS speaking test is based on a candidate’s fluency in a language, where they test their speaking skills, spoken English, and language proficiency while speaking. The speaking skill test consists of 3 parts – personal interview, topic-based speech where the candidate is given a minute to prepare before speaking, and discussion over the topic. The test takes around 11 – 14 minutes and the entire session is recorded for evaluation purposes.
