Available Intakes

Poland offers two primary intakes for international students, giving flexibility in starting their academic journey:

  • Fall Intake (September/October):
    • The main intake for most universities and programs in Poland.
    • Offers the widest range of courses across various disciplines.
    • Application deadlines typically range from April to July, depending on the institution and program.
  • Spring Intake (February):
    • A secondary intake available at select universities and for specific programs.
    • Suitable for students who missed the fall intake or prefer starting mid-academic year.
    • Application deadlines usually fall between October and December.

Additional Information:

  • Some institutions offer rolling admissions for certain courses, allowing students to apply throughout the year.
  • Application deadlines and available intakes can vary depending on the program and institution, so students are encouraged to check specific details for their chosen universities.

By understanding the intake options in Poland, international students can plan their application timeline effectively and choose the most suitable starting point for their studies.

Program Duration and stay back period

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Typically lasts 3 to 4 years (6 to 8 semesters), depending on the field of study.
  • Master’s Degree: Usually takes 1.5 to 2 years (3 to 4 semesters) to complete.
  • Poland offers favorable stay-back options for international students, enabling them to explore job opportunities and gain professional experience after graduation. Upon completing their studies, international students can apply for a Temporary Residence Permit for up to 9 months, allowing them to search for employment or start a business in Poland. Once a graduate secures a job offer, they can transition to a work permit or extend their residence permit based on employment, taking advantage of Poland’s growing economy and demand for skilled professionals in fields such as IT, engineering, healthcare, and business.
