VISA REQUIREMENTS TO STUDY IN AUSTRALIA
Your student visa will depend on the course and duration of your study. Regardless of course, as an international student you need to have a student visa (subclass 500). The visa is valid up to the duration of the course and allows you to stay in Australia for a maximum of five years. To apply for a student visa, you must have a confirmed enrollment offer in a registered course at an Australian educational institution. As an international student, you must be 6+ years old and have OSHC (Overseas Student Health Cover) for your stay in Australia.
